Good Morning,

I am thinking of having a run up to the Hodder at Slaidburn tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if it's a waste of time due to the amount of rain it has put down recently? If it's not, can i have any tips on flies etc for Grayling, i pressume Pink Shrimps, Gold bead hare's ear and PTN?? Your imput would be most welcome, it is only my second trip to a rivver on the fly.

Suggests levels is not too bad but as for colour etc you need local knowledge. I know the village shop where you get your ticket has the no. of the baliff so he could tell you I guess.

Try spiders too, snipe & purple, P&O, plus a klink can work on top sz16 -18 Adams or Black.
