I'm v.interested in knowing who owns the fishing rights on the rivers you mention - I have a half memory that the Environment Agency provide this information, they must keep a record, and I don't see why it should not be made available - I'll have a quick dig on their website, but government websites are not the friendliest ones on which to find useful info.
A bit cheeky

, but if you are generally interested in brook fishing in Derbyshire you may want to also consider Ashbourne Fly Fishing Club (AFFC).
40 members strong, with fishing on River Henmore, Shirley Brook and Upper & Lower Bentley Brook.
You'll spend a lot of time hiding behind trees, crawling about (often through nettles it seems to me) , and discovering unbelievably deep holes at the roots of those trees which contain the odd huge old trout.
Easy it ain't.
the odd mayfly is regularly spotted.
The brooks are stocked on a light to zero basis depending on the stretch.
(and before you chide Mr.Slaney, it's on the list of things to sort..)
There is a bit of a problem with mink though. Our keeper took 23 last season.
AFFC also have some hard to find but quite special stillwaters, which are incredibly lightly fished.
If you're interested then please PM me. End of advert !
