Hi!
Check out my blog (link below) which will give you a few ideas - most of my fishing these days is done around the north lakes area. Penrith AA water is mostly available on a day ticket....

There is some magic water on the Lazonby Estate. I could happily live up there!

Hi Fossa,

As mentioned above, Penrith A A have a lot of waters, and the same applies to other clubs such as Appleby A A and Kirby Stephen & Dist A A, but they all restrict access on day ticket to a couple of beats.

If you are around Penrith for 4 months then have a look at;

http://www.penrithanglers.co.uk/

http://www.applebyangling.co.uk/

http://www.kirkbystephen.net/index.htm

I believe John Norris in Penrith has full details of what is available on day ticket.

Also the Eden Rivers Trust now have "Go Wild in Eden" with plenty of water available around the area, give then a call on 01768 353 992 and ask for a booklet of the waters, their website is http://www.go-wild.org.uk but is presently being updated.

I think you'll be spoilt for choice!
