Anyone fished the above stretch recently or in the past? Booked a day for the end of this month, any tactical info would be much appreciated.

First time post, long time viewer

I fished the River Lugg's Eyton Beat last Monday (3rd Jan 2011).

Caught my first ever Grayling (1 & half pounds) on a beaded GRHE, fished Czech nymph style.
Have to say, it was one of the most exciting of my fishing experiences!
Being originally from Ireland we don't have these fantastic fish (or that I know of), so landing one on my first winter grayling adventure was a superb thrill!

Really nice piece of water, even though the temperature didn't rise above -1c all day. But a dram when I got home soon thawed me out
