Has anyone tried the Cefn- Rhosan-Fawr or Fenni Fach beats on the upper Usk between Brecon and Sennybridge-the W and U stretches?They're in the booking office beats book,pages37+40.Any info greately appreciated.

Yes. Cefn wotzisface is a lovely bit of water. Plenty of fish but fussy. There are some big b*ggers up there too. First time I fished it I had a 3lb 14oz Sewin on a size 16 Double Badger.... at 3:15pm. The lowest part of the beat is the nicest. Parl up and walk down as far as the confluence with the Cileni and fish up - carefully. The fish are spooky. Also, watch the wading, its a *****.
