I've been trying, somewhat halfheartedly I'm afraid, to find out about access to the Clare as its not far from where I now live. Not succeeded yet - any tips?

I'd be interested to hear from you. My daughter and her family live in Tuam and I currently live in Headford but am due to move to Shrule within a month. Perhaps we could get together on the Clare at some point. Trout or salmon - I don't mind which as long as its fly fishing. Not too keen on spinning.

Nothing wrong with spinning and bait fishing.....just not what I enjoy.

Dry fly over any other method, but each to their own.
