Default River Swale and Cod Beck

Hi, does the river swale and cod beck have grayling in cheers.

simply yes and plenty of them , cod beck throughout winter in coarse matches throws up good weights regularly

yeah there are plenty of trout and grayling in the swale at richmand and the old leeds club strech where the ponds are it is good for the dry fly as well in the summer .

I've been told there definately are barbel in Cod beck but not sure on locality.

Ok. Thanks.

I will have to try my luck at Cod Beck and the Swale again. The last time my father and I went up there, we got stuck in the mud on Wynn Lane. We also helped a guy out of the mud.

Think we may have to try parking next to the bridge over the beck.

I fish the cod beck & swale and can confirm that there are chub, Barbel, trout & Grayling all contained in the Beck, all you have to do is find them....Good Luck.
