Never fished for grayling before but would love to give it a bash,,

Rod wise,,,,what would be required for grayling fishing,,

Anything #4 or #5..i got Grayling earlier this year on a 10ft#6 rod. A lot of the flies have tungsten beads, so you don't want to be overhead casting and risk a snapped rod. No distance casting required.

Was on the clyde today at wolfclyde . the temp was 10.5 below . My leader was freezing up.Line would'nt go through the rings . Also lots of ice comming down stream . if i had'nt travelld 50 miles i would'nt have got'en out the car
But hey! i did try
