Bought a Airflow fishing back pack waist coat , the Zinger snapped and i lost a £12 set of forceps. I asked them for a Simms pin on zinger in recompence, (they weren't interested in giving me some new forceps ). The said no but offered me an Airflow pin on Zinger. It kept coming "unpinned" i missed it coming un pinned at some point, lost another £12.00 pair of forceps .

Is there a pattern here ?

Oh i forgot ! the felt soles came off my Airflow wading boots

They're not responsible for something you've lost on your zinger but they are responsible for the zinger

I would have thought if you told them that your felt soles are coming loose they'd sort that out too? Especially if under warranty!

Boots were second season , should expect more i think

Lost most of the studs as they were held on by the soles not screw in type. Replacements have to be ordered from manufacturer , cant recommend a glue , blah blah blah .............

Had another weeks fishing ahead of me , bought a pair of Simms instead.

Actually i think technically they coudl be held responsible for the Zinger but ...........

Ok, well seen as it's not my zinger I guess I feel differently. Not sure I'd be feeling this way if it were my forceps

As for the soles, it's pointless speaking to anyone there on the help desk. Very rarely will they be fishermen themselves

Ask to speak to their supervisor etc.
I know people in airflo who are very keen fishermen and very decent people. If you spoke to them, instead of some monkey from a temping agency on the call centre floor, you may get somewhere?
In fact I promise you.

If your soles are in warranty, you'll be fine. Like I said, if they are, let me know
