Default River Thurso trout fishing???

Anyone fished this river for trout? Any info greatly appreciated.

Many, many years ago I did. However, as I'm sure you know, it is a Salmon river and the Trout are regarded as Vermin. I didn't really fish seriously back then..I just went with some Salmon fishing pals of mine for a lark.

Loads of small Brownies in the riffles and runs between the Salmon pools but I never saw a decent sized Brownie come out of it.

Stunning country if you like real wilderness.
