Question river cover,nr leyburn (cover bridge inn)

Not a clue but let us all know . Walked this water on a holiday 2 years ago and wanted to fish it .

Youre getting around- not fished for any years but not good early season I remember - too cold.Have you tried the Laver - cracking water ?

Belatedly....I dont know re sundays.But used to be Ripon Angling Centre on North Street.Try it - the Laver is a really lovely wild trout stream.I have had trout to 1 3/4 and grayling to 1 1/2; good mayfly hatch later too.

chase ..., i fished it on sunday as i thought it offered more of a challenge than the swale..........

Bruce thanks for the updates i feel envy, try living in Bedfordshire and loving river trout fishing! preferably wild.
