Default Siblyback

I think it fishes well with most of the usual suspects.......particularly black flies.

This time of year I have done well on black buzzers, montana nymphs, black pennel and BP spiders. I think there is usually a catch report on nick hart's website.

I used to fish Siblyback regularly with an old guy that lived just round the corner from it and fished it regularly.

I could never do better than him whatever I used and he always insisted on using a black gnat, no matter what time of year or weather. It actually taught me a big lesson that if you have confidence in your fly and fish it well, you'll catch.

As you can see from the other replies though, it's any colour fly, as long as it's black

What a great water. In my opinion, a Green Pea is an absolute killer.
