Default Devon or Cornwall?

Further to my Wye and Usk query, I'm interested in what river fishing anybody can recommend in Devon or Cornwall in June. What are your favourite rivers and beats?

I fished the Taw, last year, at Eggesford which was quite enjoyable and have fished the Arundell Arms waters on the Tamar too.

I'm hoping that some of you experts of the South West might be able to recommend somewhere else for me this year...?

All advice very gratefully received, thank you.

Loads and loads for you to choose from.

The Axe is a great little river and i would be happy to show you around if you want.

Then you have the Exe,Tamar,Culm,Bray to name a few or you could get up on Dartmoor and fish the moorland streams.

So much to go at and so little time to do it.

As above, and the Dart, Teign and Yeo and Creedy all in Devon.
June is a great month for all the game fish.
Cheers

I would go for Devon too, or even Somerset for the upper reaches of the Exe.
The Exe, Creedy and Taw/Torridge will all have mayfly in June. The Lyn in north Devon is always worth fishing, it is just so pretty.
If you want to try different bits of water for not much money there is also the Angling 2000 scheme, details in here http://www.wrt.org.uk/

Default Devon Rivers

If your after the Mayfly,I would recommend coming around the last week in May rather than June. The best fishing on the smaller rivers is often in the first week of the main hatch.
