Fishing in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland

Hi i'm planning on fishing some local Lochs around the Dumfries and Galloway area in Scotland, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on which Lochs provide some good sport. I've heard that Loch Whinyeon and Lochenbreck near Gatehouse are quite good, does anyone have any advice on how to fish these Lochs and what flies are effective?
