Default Devon River Mayfly Hatches

Hi all,
I have a question , we will be coming to fish Devon for a week mid-May. Hopefully the Mayfly will be coming off and if they are what rivers would you say normally get the better hatches ?. We will be staying to the West of Oakhampton.
Of course I know it can vary year to year but I'm just looking for your opinions.
Thanks ,
Mark

How's it going Toby ?
You must be happy Redknapp is not picking up the soap in Brixton nick....
I have just seen the news about Capello and I can only guess your man must be lined up as the next England manager.

I had heard the Taw had a good hatch which is a result as there is a fair amount of fishing available on there for a visiting fisherman.
As you know it's all down to luck with dates but I'm just trying narrow things down as there is a lot of fishing available.
I'll probably bell you nearer the time if that's ok .
Cheers,
Mark
