Abington Post Office, Abington.

Anglers Attic, Caledonian Road, Wishaw.

Airdrie Angling Centre, Forest Street, Airdrie.

Crockets, Glasgow.

Tackle and Guns, Pollockshaws Rd, Glasgow.

Crawford Post Office, Crawford.

Tourist Information Office, Lanark.

Scot-sport, Whitburn.

Sports and Recreation, Armadale.

Anglers Rendezvous, Glasgow.

Civic Square Post Office, Motherwell.

J Ritchie, Wishaw.

Newmills Trout Farm, Cleghorn

If you're heading to the upper reaches you can get a ticket at Abington or Crawford. If you're heading for the middle reaches then Lanark or Newmills is handy. Hope that helps.

The last time I bought a UCAPA day ticket for grayling it was 3/4 of the price of a season ticket(£9-£12).Why not try Hozier water. It's upstream/downstream of Hyndford bridge.and you get the ticket in the wee market garden centre shop at the bridge and you can park your car there...Was £4 last year.

It depends which part you want to fish.

See Permit Outlets

NB Clydestyle fishing shop at Crossford is closed.

Tickets for Hozier water are available from the Glasshouses at Hyndford Bridge.

Lamington water is closed till mid March.

I wasnt able to get a season ticket at Abington Post Office (so I would check before you go if you want a season ticket) earlier in the winter- they had not been supplied. So it was a rather expensive £10 for a day ticket. Think i only paid £12 (or thereabouts ) for a season last year!

Did you end up purchasing a season ticket afterwards Kenny?

No, I took the day ticket on the day in question as I was there by that time, but could not be bothered doing the chasing round to locate one, so just figured I would fish elsewhere where its cheaper this season and try again maybe next year.
