The Calder upstream from Brierley Bridge to Hebden Bridge is controlled by Hebden Bridge anglers, you can get a day ticket from Jewsons Tackle in Halifax. The Calder below Brierley is controlled by Ryburn and Halifax angling club and runs all the way down to Westvale, again tickets available from Jewsons. Ryburn and Halifax also control the river Hebden which runs into the Calder at Hebden bridge, its a great little trout river. Great value at £5 for a day ticket.
Hope this helps,
Gary.

The access through Hebden Bridge can be difficult in terms of getting in the river. There's some decent fish around by the bridge near the railway station. its worth a try. The Ryburn is always worth a try, again tickets available from Jewsons again.

Yes its easy enough, or if your coming over drop me a PM and if I'm around I can sell you a Ryburn/Halifax ticket and give you an idea of where to fish.
