What is the rules for the comp.

Hi the rules are fairly straight forward fly only, one rod , catch and release ,the pairs will be drawn after the fishing has finished, debarbed hooks, no boobies ,moving every 20mins .There will be a free lunch and tea and coffee and a freindly atmosphere

Sound like a good laugh especially when you don't know who your partner is till it's finished lol. I thought they would draw the teams before starting so you could discuss tactics.

The pairs will be drawn after the fishing is done , please explain as I cant get my thick head round that one sorry ..

Sounds straightforward- and fun. You sign in, you fish, you record your catch and at the end of the day when the returns go in they randomly associate you with a partner, and your totals are added and the winning pair is the one with the highest score (however its computed). I guess it leads to a fairly friendly atmosphere as you will never know whether someone asking you what you are catching all those suicidal Rainbows on , is going to be your partner! good idea!
