Default Anyone Using Frog Hair?

I notice that you don't hear people talking about frog hair much anymore. i saw a guy post about it and it occured to me that he's the first I've seen doing so in a long time.

Is there a reason for this?

What do you guys think of the stuff?

I find it a good tippet for dry flies. Nice and supple.

I use it for all my dry fly and small flies, like it's suppleness, a tad expensive, use fulling mill for everything else.

I did use it for a while, but I found it went off in your pocket, a bit like Drennan subsurface.
If you had half a spool left at close season, you might as well chuck it, because come open day it was like cotton, Just my opinion of course.
I stick to Prestons now.

That is true, but it happens with many materials. I must try Prestons. What's it like as regards suppleness, knot strength, not being too shiny etc?

Here you go, for what it costs for 100 metres you can't go wrong.
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
I find it as good as anything I have tried, and no shinier, knots very well, and has a bit of give in it.
We game anglers can learn a lot from the coarse anglers.
