Damme, I knew I shouldn't have wasted all that money on flyfishing tomfoolery

South Korea is one of the countries I wish to visit with a fly rod one day. I just hope that they leave a few in the rivers for a C&R fly fisherman like me to target...

I took a look and please pardon me for spotting this but I write a bit and although not a professor of literature I never made it past the second sentence before this jabbed me..............

{Quote} Unless of course you're a resident of Hwacheon in South Korea - in which case you simply whip the fish fresh out of the water with your bear hands. {Quote}

Should that not be 'with your bare hands.'? Amazingly the sentence seems also to be a fragment

A bit of cheek pointing that out but I presume this was reported by a professional.

Shhhhhhh ......... word has it the best fishing is in the demilitarized zone on the 38th parallel. That said, you'll be the 'target.'

And don't you think this sentence needed a comma or two?

You're quite correct! I was so incensed at the moment that I let fly with criticism while submitting rubbish of my own.

You caught me red handed there bud!

This may still be in need of an edit but is an improvement. Thank you for pointing out the undeniable blunder; that's what you get when you live in a glass house.

Although my error may be indefensible, I'll still try. I was speaking, or in this case writing, in a conversational manner. The butchered punctuation is often present in speech as we rush to make a point. Had I been submitting the sentence to the UPI, Reuters, or the like, I would have done a tad of polish prior to hitting the 'post' button

I guess my whole point was that it would be nice if professional journalists were to write a little better than a guy posting to a fishing forum.
