Default Trouts & Cormorants

Just a quick thanks to all those who nudged me in the right direction with my tying of Cormorants. I took the results down to Canada lake, Pentyrch for a few hours today and took 2 cracking Rainbows on them. Both fish around the 3lb mark (one a gnats under and one a smidgin over). The first fish came to a chartreuse bodied fly with an olive wing and the other to the more traditional black marabou and red holo tinsel pattern. Just to keep things balanced I did try a few other flies (cats whiskers, dancers and a variety of standard nymphs) but it was the Cormorants that did the business. I think I've found my go to pattern for 2012

...you mean you want more of them...

Ok, I'm out after Dabs in Swansea Bay tomorrow but I'll put a few up before Christmas.
