I reckon I might give the Pinsley Brook a go, nice and early in the season. The WUF describes it as:
"The Pinsley Brook is a small tributary of the River Lugg, flowing through the rolling countryside of north Herefordshire. The Pinsley has many characteristics of a southern chalk stream, and although very small in places has a very healthy population of trout. Early in the season should be the best time to fish the brook, before the bank side vegetation is at its most dense - as the season progresses however, fishing the Pinsley will be a real challenge for the more accurate casters."
1st day of the season, reckon that's early enough?
