Default Jedburgh Grayling Competition

Have been toying with entering this, no good at fishing rivers but want to start . Figured the best bet is to enter and see how its done. Is this a serious comp where everything will b a secret or quite light hearted? How does it work are you paired randomly or is it everyman for themselves? How do I enter? Can you enter on the morning? Sorry for all the questions but if you dont ask you dont get Thanks in advance for any light you can shed

Junior and I are up for this if its fishable, couldn't make the original date but the 7th Jan works OK for us (if the floods have subsided!!). I see its bait and fly allowed.
