Hi,
Try fishing a the Klinkhammer on the dropper and the Gold Head nymph about 2 ft below on the point. This is called the duo method, ideally this should be fished on a short line.
Hope this helps.
Gary.

Hi

I would suggest using a floating line and fishing upstream with a weighted nymph. A pink shrimp is highly recommended for grayling but the gold head nymphs you have will work too. Make sure the nymph is heavy enough to get right down to the bottom, and use either a buoyant dry fly as an indicator (tie the nymph to a length of tippet - dependant on the depth of the water - to the hook shank of the dry) or a regular strike indicator, making sure you avoid drag when "dead drifting" the fly back to you. Strike at any dip or unnatural movement of the indicator.

Good luck!
