well at last ive got broken my grayling virginity and here she is in all her glory caught on the hodder on a size 18 black f fly. its the first time in a long time ive been shaky and nervous about lossing a fish. i spent the rest of the day with a stupid grin on my face.

THAMKS ALL IVE ALREADY HAD A FEW MORE MICRO GRAYLING AND ONE OTHER OF ABOUT THE SAME STAMP AS MY FIRST. THATS IT IM HOOKED FORGET THE STILLWATER FISHING THIS WINTER IM ON THE RIVERS

I'm yet to break my grayling duck, infact I've only ever had one river trout and that got off before netting it

Luckily I find stillwaters a bit easier and don't mind blank days on the river

That's a nice fish! My first (and second, and third), in fact, all three graylings I've caught were all of about 5 inches long.
