Default First attempt at Grayling Bugs

Well seeing I was washed off the Nith today, decided to tie some Gryaling bugs up for the first time. What the verdict guys - honestly as its the only way I can get better at these. They are tied on size14 grub and nymph hooks and the beads are Tungsten.

Been out once for the Grayling last week and will be filling in a fewmore days - when its not pishing it down : - for the lady's of the stream.

To be honest, I likes the look of all of them! I'd be happy with fishing those in 16s and 18s or smaller for winter grayling.

They're taking the p!ss. Size 12-16, and sometimes bigger, are all you need for grayling.

Not taking the **** at all, I fish wit a large range of sizes for the ladies but generally catch most of my fish on skinny ties on an 18-20. Use larger flies mainly as ballast to get the smaller flies down to the right level.
