Now that for all intents and purposes dry flies are off the menu does anyone know of any still waters near to Edinburgh where the water's clear enough to stalk rainbows?

Tried stalking once in Edinburgh, pulled by the fuzz in no time.

Try Easter Balado only 5 Mins off the M90, come off at jct 6. It is spring fed and the water is crystal clear, fairly steep drop off from the bank but they can be found close in. Jon
