Default Dove clubs

I fish a little of the Dove with the Derbyshire County Club, who owns the rights to the other sections, Ellastone and above and some idea of the fees if you know would also be helpful!

Thanks in advance.

Ellastone is Derby railway a.c. £75 per season for trout ticket. They also have stretches at Tutbury,Scropton and Eaton Dovedale farm as well as the Derwent, Ecclesbourne and Sutton brook.
Hope this helps
Dave.

Much of the lower Dove is in the hands of dead-mans-shoes clubs: Oakover, Birdsgrove, Norbury and Uttoxeter Fly Fishers. Relatively expensive and not easy to get in, and full of toffs

Some more affordable clubs have got small stretches. I think (?) Prince Albert have a stretch downstream of Mayfield, Derby Railway at Ellastone and Leek and District now have a stretch below Rocester.

Downstream of where the rain-fed Churnet joins the Dove the fishing changes in character, although the Derby Railway stretch has a good head of fish still.
