Default Advice on guided fishing in the Whitby area

Hi Folks,

I'm after some advice. I'm off to Whitby with the family next August and I've managed to get the green light for a days fishing. I'd like to have a go at some river/stream fishing for trout. Given my inexperience with river fishing and lack of local knowledge I was thinking I might hire a guide for the day.

Can anyone recommend anywhere within an hours drive of Whitby and/or a local guide that might be able to help me out?

Thanks in advance
