Default Ultra sensitive indicator

When you come across something good its worth sharing. Got a 'drops' style indicator from ROVER for use with my french nymphing and was blown away with the results. The tapping of the beads along the bottom is transmitted along the line, not found this when fishing with a piece of fluo braid indicator. Its so sensitive that when the tapping stops you have a fish on before the indicator registers the take. Smaller fish can be felt pulling on the line. The bi colour line and the fluo drops are highly visible in all lights and against various water reflections so for the full drift you can see any part of the indicator.

This was just on the first outing so looking forward to seeing how it fairs even better once get to know the feel of it more.

First impressions outstanding.

Ryan, the indicator is usually connected in to the leader construction and basically sits at the end of the leader/before the tippet. So that when you are fishing the indicator is just above the water.
If you are new to this style of fishing have a look at this Youtube clip that I shot with Jonfish recently.

How are you fishing this Johathan? It's not normal to have the indicator running along the riverbed!

Nick, I think you're mis-reading it. The 'beads' tapping are on the flies - he's saying the indicator transfers this sensation through the leader, line and rods very well.
