Default Fishing the clyde Tommoro

Hi Guys

Looking to fish the Clyde near Glasgow tomorrow. Thursday 6th
I understand its the last day for brownies...!!!

Weather is looking difficult but wanna fish in Scotland before I leave on Frida for Ireland.

Does anyone know any good spots particularly weirs etc I've seen the site but don't know the area...possibly considering the Lammington stretch.

Best wishes

You will need to go somewhere where you can get a bit of shelter from the wind. I would suggest that you go on Lamington water at Wolfclyde Bridge which is just outside Biggar. Good chance of some nice trout and of course grayling. Stay near the bridge for shelter-its also easy to just jump back in your car should the weather get too bad. You can get a ticket at the garage or the newsagent in town. Best of luck------Peter

The river has a good bit of fresh water in it now but it is fishable, your best bet will be up the top end of the river near Abington.
Approx 50 mins from Glasgow on the M74.

UCAPA or Lamington which ever you prefer.

pm me if you want more info.
