The Chalkstream Diaries - A Seasonal September

I thought it was pleasant enough without being blown away by it...nicely written, just not sure it offered a lot of new insight over and above what a lot of writers have given us over the years.

Also, I would have thought that September 2011 was anything but "A seasonal September" what with the lack of rain and then the very warm weather at the end. Perhaps Alex was caught out by publication schedules.

Must have been a different "the chalkstreams" to the ones i fish, my observations this season have been different to the ones in the article..
