Default Welsh Dee grayling

After receiving some great advice on where to catch some Welsh Dee Grayling (Llanderfel was where i was pointed to) i am curious as to the best method for the bigger fish?
My first Welsh Dee fish was caught on a nymph and was around 2- 2lb 4 oz so well pleased, However nothing more to the wet fly. Changed over to the Klink and had well over 13 grayling but nothing over 12oz.
My question is do the bigger fish tend to fall to wet fly?
Thanks
Matt

Dunno Matt, but I fished that beat with Louis Noble and he had a monster grayling when he was demonstrating how to fish spiders!

Yes i thought about spiders as now would be a good time for terrestrials. Have to wait till next year now i guess. Still it was a lovely stretch if not a tad fast on the day due to lots of rain.

Get the spiders out, my biggest grayling this year was on a black spider.
