Default Tourists again !

went down the Tweed for a couple of casts tonight, had a GRHE and a PTN on and caught this.

Had more of these than trout this year!!!

You can't help but wonder if salmon anglers are missing a trick with the usual salmon fly patterns.....

i had just moved to a pool up above a salmon fisher who had moved down onto the pool i was on. There was a few moving in the pool, took my GRHE on the top dropper just as i was about to flick them back upstream.

I have never used the big flies that the salmon guys use but still catch plenty through the season fishing for trout!

took ages for it to revive mind, 40 minutes to land it on light tackle

it's cool mate, i just hooked it as it started to **** down
and it continued for the whole 40 minutes i had it on
