Default Guided boat fishing, Yorkshire area.

Hi folks

I'm hoping to treat a customer or two to a day out fishing and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

It would be safe to assume they have no previous experience of fly fishing. I'm thinking a day in a boat somewhere where they're in with a decent chance of catching fish. I'll need a guide for a day, or half a day to show him/them what to do...

Maybe your a local instructor yourself and know how these things work more than I do..?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thankyou.

Gavin.

A possibility would be to approach Stuart Minnikin about a day on Coniston Hall Lake, which I think might fit your bill.

Or - and I admit I've no experience of this personally - I've heard that Kilnsey Park is pretty easy for novices.....although I think it's bank only?

I think the day would be best spent in a boat so enquiries have been made at Stocks and Coniston Hall, and a message has been left with Stuart Minnikin.

Thankyou both for your help.
