Hi, depending on where your based there are some good day ticket waters available within your budget. There's the Calder around Halifax, at £5 a day cracking value, the Wharfe yat Addingham, £15, the Nidd around Patley Bridge £12, the Swale around Reeth £12 and the Ure around Hawes £15. If you let me know where your planning to fish I'll let you have details of where to buy the day tickets. Gary

all the waters Gary has metioned are all worth trying out, If your after both trout and grayling then i'd be tempted for the patley bridge stretch on the nidd, check the nidd forum, i've given some advice.

ps Hi Gary it's Chris

Not quite within the £20 budget mark, but Bradford City AA has lengths of the Aire, the Wharfe and the Nidd for £31 (including the £15 joining fee) on a part-year season (1 Sep to 31 Dec) ticket. Fish as often as you like between now and the end of the year!!
Details of the waters are on the Club website at Bradford City Angling Association - phone the Membership Secretary per the details there and he will fix you membership over the phone.
Cheers

The Calder around Halifax is very good, especially around Copley village and West Vale, you can get Day tickets from the post office in Sowerby Bridge or Jewsons tackle shop in Halifax town centre.
