Being new to fly fishing , I thought I'd have a look at the CLA gamefair this year , especially as it's in my area.

Do you get a lot of discounts from the manufacturers / retailers at events like this ?........if so , what sort of percentage ??

I'm in the market for a new rod ........should I wait until July ??

I know the added advantage will be that I can try a number of rods all in one place.

Advantage of waiting til the fair is you can feel the rod , probably have a cast and obviously try and get the sale at the best price you can , the sellers are there to make sales and an agreement can usually be met somewhere along the line.
