Default Camping chair for fishing

Not tackle but it is fishing related

Can anybody recommend a decent collapsible aluminium/canvas chair that I can take to the river? I need something that can support a 220 pound fly fisherman in waders that won't break the first time it's used.

Cheers.

That's it Bruce.

It's just for chilling out in with a brew and a paper. So many seemed to suffer from snapped legs or they're unstable etc which why I asked on here.

Thanks for that.

More in the camper style, and thus with a carry bag, and suitable up to 120Kgs

only thing with these type of chairs is they dont have adjustable legs required for riverbanks,as they are not all as flat as patio's,

I've seen some neat three legged canvas and aluminium stools - which are a whole heap smaller and lighter than a carp-fishers daybed - but anything on tubular legs is a bust on soft ground.....

If you are tempted by any of those combined stool/bag things, make sure you get one like the one linked to above, where the bag is between the legs of the stool, and not one like that I had as a kid, where the bag hung off the side and made the stool fall over every time I stood up.

I can remember when almost everyone had a large wicker box/hamper - I remember biking miles and miles with that slung over my shoulder as a kid
