Default Hampshire clubs

This not about tackle but where to use it.I'm looking for a club around hampshire/ wiltshire with has some small streams within their portfolio. Its about time i started using all this gear i've accumulated. The words "all the gear with no idea" now spring to mind

Default Sdac

Try the salisubury and district AC the links below.

Upstream Dry Fly Fishing for Trout and Coarse Fishing with the Salisbury and District Angling Club

the only thing is I think the Trout part of the club is full, but the mixed fisheries are ok, and its easier to join the trout part if your already a member of the club

Portcullis, are you or have you been in the Armed Forces? If the answer's yes then small stream fishing could easily be yours...

PM if you'd rather than posting publicly.

What Jason says about SDAC is true.

The premium trout membership now has a ten year waiting list I believe.

Unfortunately these are the waters with the smaller streams. The mixed fishery waters are on the larger main rivers.

Have you looked at Christchurch angling club?

Good luck

Just had a look there myself steve.

Under the game section, small stream fishing for brown trout is offered.

£130 for a seasons membership plus £25 joining fee,no mention of a waiting list.
A lot of coarse fishing, as well as sea trout and salmon.

Generally small stream fishing in that area is either club controlled with long waiting lists, or day ticket water.
