I can't remember seeing much in the way of fly tying stuff, although I was only in there to get a ticket for a local water. There was a selection of flies though.
I know what you mean about the parking. It was a nightmare. If you follow the traffic flow past the shop, there is a car park (pay and display) up a left turn once you come back onto the prom. It is signposted Central parking. If you can't get in there, continue to head through Oban, as if you were heading south out of the town. You will come to a set of lights with a right turn signposted retail park or superstores. Loads of parking in there (3 hours free at Tesco). It is a ten minute walk back into the shop from there, but use the pedestrian shortcut out of the far corner of the Tesco car park.
As I said, I didn't spend too much time in the shop, so he may have some interesting stuff poked away. It is small though and had a constant trickle of sea angling tourists that kept the place pack-a-jam.
