Default Flextec CDX66

Has anyone tried the Flextec CDX66 10ft 6/7wt?
I can't find any reviews online and found one that looks like a bargan if it is a good rod. It retails around £300.

Well i bought one a couple of months back about £30 from you know where auction site. It was basically used as a back up, however when i used it i thought fantastic for the money it felt a little on the soft side but had no problems shooting a good distance and have used it sometimes more than my grey XD. So i think for the money these aint bad rods at all but make up your own mind but i think you may like it more than you think

Hope this helps Landrover64

The CDX 66 is a good wee rod for what you will pay, but the Flextec CRX 88 is a much better buy. Can highly recommend it. It might be a few quid more but well worth it.

It was a fine fish on a fine rod, and yes that is the reason for seeking out a new rod. All i want is something that bends when i cast or catch those big harelaw bows!!! you will see what i mean if you ever hook one of those beasts instead of blanking all the time. But credit where credit is due, you can cast a hell of a line, twice as far as mine, to bad thats not where the fishes are though........
