Default Flextec Rod

Flextec Trout Game Fly Fishing Rod CRX88 10ft # 7/8

Bought one of these rods of ebay made a offer of £37.00 and it arrived yesterday, having tried it out can only say that it is a better action than my Greys GRXi rod.

Really chuffed at price and the quality and it came it a case.

Anyone else had these and how do they last over time?

Ive been using the crx88 since the my sage xp broke and im waiting on a section the last six weeks,i have to say its a fantastic rod for the money, the cork handle is not the may west but it has a superb action and is ideal for sunk line work, the fact that these rods are so low in price really shows the profit margins the more illustrious rod makers are making.

All the flextec range is superb value for money in my opinion. The XRD 44 is a classic.

Havent used my expensive rods since I got the flextec rods.

The CRX 88 atfm 7/8 is a superb rod for sunk line work.

The CRX 88 aftm 6/7 is great for pulling wets and fishing dries.

Caught this Chew brown using the Flextec CRX 88 6/7

And this Brenig rainbow using the Flextec XRD 44

Yeah, I've used the trout rods too. To be honest I wouldn't part with my 8# Sage for competition fisihing but I do use the CRX88 when fishing on the lakes for wild broons.

Also bought two of their salmon rods. For the money they are v good. Up there with greys for half the price.

Thumbs up Won't get better value for money...

As with OO, I have both the CRX 88 7/8 and 6/7 which are great actioned rods for both top of the water fishing and sunk work

I have also the 7 piece 6/7 wildneress and the XRD 44 10ft 4piece 9/10 which will be travelling to British Columbia this October to get a real test!

Great rods and great value
