Hi,

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these in 10ft 9# or 9ft 9#

Cheers

I have a 40+ 10ft 7/8 weight (new version). It chucks a really good line and is a nice powerful rod with plenty of power for distance casting - I use it as a 3rd rod for heavy sinking lines and I can cast 40 yards with it using 40 plus sinkers no problem. A very good value rod, easily comparable to my loomis glxd rods.

I'll back that up, I have the 10'6" 7/8 and I also have an Mtec S3 10'6" 7/8, both will handle any line with ease.

I can also vouch for it, I tried a friend's 40+ and I can honestly say it felt very nice in the hand.

I have a 9ft 6/7 for the boy and he liked it the best out of testing 4 rods
It was my favourite too so they must be a decent rod

I'll bang out a far cast for him for him from time to time too. I like the rod lots and it was really cheap
Try tightlines in Ammanford
