Mine's performs well (as well as I can make it perform, that is) with one of Pirate's Worcestershires. It also works well with the Michael Evans Stalker twin line 5/6.

The Pirate advised me to use a WF7 on mine as a beginner to ease loading. I think that was good advice, took one of his bargain floaters and have been happy using it weekly for the last few months. I'm thinking now my timings a bit more reliable I would be equally happy with a WF6. I don't haul though - not sure how this would influence my casting if i could.

I fish small stillwaters mainly so not too worried about mega distances. This weekend I did try a small reservoir - which in a gusty force 5 was challenging - I was pleased with the extra weight.

I also use a michael evans twin line but went for the 6/7 arrowhead as it makes it easier for my wife to use. I dont get a hand on it now

Snowbee xs in a 6 is very good on that rod.
