Default small river/stream outfit

Hi there,
I'm looking put a together a small river/stream outfit, probably 3# or 4#. I've had a long on this forum and seen some recommendations for the Wychwood Truefly. Does anyone know whether the Wychwood Trueflex is as good? My price range for a rod is under £100. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Alex

what length of rod are you looking for,if you looking for a 7ft rod i can reccomend the fladen vantage as can a few others on here, and would leave you change to buy a reel and line to go with it !!!!!

Never heard of one Bruce, however the wychwood truefly is a lot of rod for the money, I haven't heard of a trueflex.

Seconded. If you are happy with a 7ft rod then get the vantage. None of the other rods i have costing 5 or 6 times the price beat it in VALUE stakes. It aint perfect but for £20 quid its practically a gift.

Default thanks !

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking for a 7ft rod. I'll check out the Fladen but like the look of the Truefly.
