Default Bruce and Walker , The walker Powerlite 15ft

A relative manages a charity shop down south and has had one of these brought in from the photo ive seen its looks in good nic.. She wondered what a fair price in the shop should be.

Also I am considering it myself as whenever Ive had the chance of a bit of salmon fishing on bigger rivers I have had to borrow kit as I normally fish purely for trout and sea trout.

So gents? good rod? bad rod? suggested fair price?

These rods are always coming up on ebay. They are now long discontinued. I am not sure what they regularly fetch but a quick search would show. Comfortably under £100, I would think.

I disagree
powerlites are still top of the range
'walker 'powerlites are mk1 powerlites I think, they may be stiffer than reg powerlites but I bet they are a good rod worth over 200 quid

Well as its for Charity I have sent her £100 probably to much but its christmas...Also I do like Bruce and Walker kit,,, Now Ive discovered more It is for a 7 to 10 line,,,

Now what line do you reckon I should put on it. At the very least I will be able to go to river at the end of my road and practice spey casting. Something I have never mastered on the odd salmon trips I have had.
