Default Waterproof camera / mobile bag

As I get older I seem to spend much of my time tripping over and loosing my balance in the rivers, for this reason I dare not take my mobile or digital camera with me.
I hate a mobile ringing when I am fishing anyway defeats the whole object.
I occasionally catch a fish that I would like to take a quick photo of though,
I repeat occasionally, and wonder if some kind person could supply a link to a supplier who sells these totally 100% guaranteed waterproof bags to put said item in.
Many thanks.

I know the problem! I've seen them in various fishing catalogues (Norris's, GAC etc), also outdoors stores, but always look pricey for what they are. Then I spotted a 3-pack (different sizes) in the big Tesco (? I think) near us, with their camping/outdoors stuff - much cheaper and just as good.

This place also has some but a bit more expensive:

....or just keep phone in pocket inside waders (fine until you get a call!)

The problem with waterproof bags is you have to take the camera or mobile out of the bag to use it and that, of course, is when you drop it in the river

I've decided the best option is to buy a proper waterproof camera - the pentax optio W10/20/30 range seems to come highly recommended and they can be found on the net for £100-130 at the moment.

Not the fancier ones, you don't.

Useful for a phone, but for a camera?

Ah, well, you'd want one of these for that… (Gawd knows what sort of pictures you'd get from inside a placcy bag though!)

Excellent is the answer! I have one for my Nikon D70 - absolutely safe and the 'plastic' lens is optically clear.

The alternative to a waterproof bag is, of course a waterproof camera - something like the Pentax Optio W30.

a new product out at the moment is a water proof casing which is available for most digital cameras some on ebay at the moment or try googling water proof camera cases alot cheaper than purchasing a new camera

Or you could pick up a cheapo camera on ebay that is waterproof.
