Default Roman Moser Minicon

Hi All,

Got a new #8 mallard floating line from mike barrio last week and just wondering about these Roman Moser Minicon braided loops, anyone using them?

Pro's

Con's

Are they any better than the ones from the likes of Glasgow Angling Centre?

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

They do exactly what it says on the can. No problems-easy fit-no maintenance. Not tried any others, never felt the need .

They're all pretty much simular. Just make sure you push the fly line right up to the loop as far as it can go. If not, the braided part can hinge which will effect casting/presentaion with leader turnover.

Don't forget the RM glue - waterproof and flexible. Have used RM loops for many years - best there is

Best loops you can get.

Don't use them with the plastic sleeve that comes with them, just whip them on with some fly tying thread and a drop of glue.

Much neater.
