Default Trout spinning rod.

I am going to buy a new spinning rod. I would be using it for trout. I would like it to be 8 r 9 foot . Any recommendations?
Maybe Daiwa or Shimano? What you think about Shimano Diaflash and Daiwa Shogun Advanced Lure Rod?

SHIMANO DIAFLASH ST-A SPINNING RODS

Out of those two choices the shimano in 8ft 3-14grams, for trout, generally the lighter the better, most rods are just a bit over powering for normal trout.

If I was going for a light weight rod, i would go for the following in the 7ft version which can be picked up from as little as £50 plus postage online : -

Savage Gear Troutizimo Spinning Rods – Glasgow Angling Centre

For slightly heavier work, could also go with the following in 7ft 6 : -

I think you should be asking on a spinning forum, not a fly-fishing forum.

Seriously, learn to flyfish for trout - much more fun than spinning.

I bought a Sonik SK4 spinning rod, and have been delighted with it. Mine's a bit heavy for trout, I use it for general lure fishing for perch, chub and pike, but they do a range of weights.
