The May edition of T&S reviews 9ft #5 rods. This rod is one of them and came out of the report as pretty good. Certainly the finish is very good at the price. But that is only one rod in the range. Other lengths may be better or worse.
Try to give a rod a trial before buying.

Thumbs up

I just bought the 9'6" 7/8 rod, all i can say is... SUPERB! Really nice rod good action (suits me anyway) great finish IMO opinion the best rod i've fished. Prefer it to my Sharpes Gordon and for a third of the price you can't go wrong!

Hope this helps!

Jay

Don't know about the rods but the Truefly reels are nice bits of kit and good value. Isn't Wychwood owned by Daiwa? if so, quality products at sensible prices are no surprise.

I don't think so but i could be wrong, Leeda is the UK distributer. Truefly reels are nice too have the salmon version nice drag.
